Job Summary

Fully On-Site Position — No Remote Work

The Welcome Host is responsible for establishing a warm, welcoming and professional atmosphere for all clients, executives, and staff members at all times. Located at a reception desk, the Welcome Host will be the first point of contact for visitors to the office, making them feel comfortable, directing them to their appointments and meetings, and assisting them during their visit. 
 

Job Responsibilities
•Greet employees and visitors, welcome visitors with a positive attitude and sense of hospitality. Meet, greet and escort all VIP guests. 
•Provide end-to-end hospitality for guests to ensure they are delighted and satisfied during their arrival, throughout their stay, and as they depart. 
•Assist with workspace reservations using an online tool to maximize utilization.
•Follow all access procedures and ensure guests have proper visitor badges.
•Work closely with other departments to ensure high quality experience for all guests.
•Prepare and maintain the reception area daily to ensure a welcoming environment. 
•Learn and provide information about the office, building, transportation, local restaurants, and other points of interest.
•Respond to inquiries via multiple channels of communication.
•Maintain a strong awareness of business activity and communicate all updates with your team members. 
•Maintain knowledge and awareness of security, fire, health, and safety guidelines.
•Meet or exceed company initiatives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that drive organizational performance.
•General operational and administrative support and other duties as assigned.
 

Key Competencies
•A genuine sense of hospitality, with a commitment to delivering a memorable experience in all aspects of the role. 
•The ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks while interacting with clients and visitors in an open environment.
•Excellent listening and communication skills. 
•Basic computer skills and knowledge of office technology / equipment, including Microsoft Office products. 
•Discreet, ethical, and committed to maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
