Job Summary
If you're a culinary leader who loves the craft and the connection — the perfectly executed dish and the moment a diner's face lights up — Eurest wants to talk to you.
We're looking for a growth-minded Chef Manager to lead our corporate dining operation in San Jose. This isn't just a kitchen role. It's a guest experience role, a relationship role, and a leadership role — wrapped in a chef's coat. You'll own the culinary program, building a dining experience that your client and their team genuinely look forward to every single day.
What You'll Own
- Full culinary leadership of the operation — menu development, ordering, receiving, inventory, and cost controls with a focus on local, seasonal sourcing and quality ingredients
- A guest-first hospitality mindset that drives every decision, from daily café service to high-profile catered events
- A trusted, consultative partnership with your client — anticipating their needs, communicating proactively, and delivering an experience that consistently exceeds expectations
- Day-to-day operational oversight including scheduling, reporting, POS system management, and P&L accountability
- A kitchen culture that inspires — leading, mentoring, and motivating a loyal, high-performing team that takes pride in their work and shows it in every plate
- On-site catering and exposition cooking execution that makes your client proud to show off their dining program to guests and leadership alike
- A commitment to sustainability, responsible sourcing, and culinary innovation that keeps your program fresh and relevant
What You Bring
- 3+ years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, corporate dining, or full-service restaurant environments
- A genuine passion for hospitality — you understand that food is how people feel welcomed, valued, and cared for
- Proven ability to build strong client and stakeholder relationships with professionalism, warmth, and follow-through
- Strong financial acumen including P&L management, food cost controls, purchasing, and inventory
- Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, presentation, and sanitation
- Working knowledge of HACCP and food safety best practices
- Tech-savvy and comfortable operating systems and technology as part of your daily routine
- A collaborative leadership style that brings out the best in the people around you
