Short Description

We're seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead the culinary program at Adobe's San Jose campus. This is an outstanding opportunity for a passionate, hands-on culinary leader who thrives in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment. Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all culinary operations across the Adobe San Jose campus, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation.
  • Develop innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients, current culinary trends, and guest preferences while supporting operational and financial goals.
  • Oversee food production, recipe execution, portion control, and quality assurance to deliver an outstanding dining experience.
  • Recruit, develop, mentor, and inspire culinary team members while creating a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
  • Partner with operations leadership to execute daily service, special events, and high-profile catering functions.
  • Manage food and labor costs through effective forecasting, purchasing, inventory management, scheduling, and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment and facilities while promoting safe operating practices.
  • Collaborate with clients and operational leaders to continuously enhance the culinary program through innovation, feedback, and operational excellence.
  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices, developing team talent, and identifying opportunities to elevate the guest experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional culinary experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience, including experience as an Executive Chef or senior culinary leader.
  • Proven success leading high-volume, complex foodservice operations.
  • Strong hands-on leadership style with a passion for mentoring and developing culinary talent.
  • Well-rounded culinary background with experience across multiple cuisines and service styles.
  • Exceptional knowledge of food quality, menu development, production systems, food safety, sanitation, and cost controls.
  • Experience managing budgets, inventory, purchasing, labor, and financial performance.
  • Catering and special events experience preferred.
  • Corporate dining experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard business applications.
  • ServSafe Certification preferred.
