Job Summary: 

 

To support our growth we’re looking for a Process Manager to join our awesome team!

 

The Process Manager is responsible for assisting the Logistics Manager on the overall success of the production kitchen. This means adhering to the Client’s culture and guidelines, the Health Department’s regulations, and Bon Appétit’s standards and expectations of food quality, freshness and presentation. Alongside the Logistics Manager, you will manage the daily operations of the podium kitchen, including selection, development, and performance management of employees and managing the systems and process in an efficient way. This position also motivates and directs all employees to accomplish the objectives of the operation to the satisfaction of the customers, and maintains a working relation with the Client.

The great things you will do:

  • Manage workplace and food safety, including allergen management 

  • Helps conduct employees’ reviews, coaching sessions, and disciplinary actions.

  • Maintains change wall, prints current menus, is present at designated taste procedures to verify dish accuracy and sends menu documentation following taste.

  • Ensures that all Hiring and Training standards are met and documented.

  • Collaborates with Podium chefs to ensure accurate dish information is reflected in Mobius and makes any changes if necessary.

  • Work with the management team to ensure that all ingredients and allergens of food items are properly recorded and meet specific account standards.

  • Gathers and submits monthly office supply orders in addition to  quarterly kitchen supply orders for the neighborhood.

  • Reconciliation of podium kitchen property and cost of products

  • Utilizes all web based informational systems, including web menu and catering menu.

 

What we look for in the great candidate:

  • Ability to drive and enhance a culture of Food and Workplace Safety  

  • Minimum 3 years applicable experience in a like volume and quality food service establishment.

  • Possess general hospitality knowledge and interest in sustainability and Sustainable food practices

  • Has the ability to operate Web based ordering systems, process customer requests, changes to orders, menu updates and client profiles,

  • Proficient in computer and technical skills, working knowledge of Google Suite tools, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Managing in a Union Environment is a plus 

  • ServSafe Certification
