Salary:  $70,000-72,000

Job Summary

Cal Poly Campus Dining is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Unit Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of all marketing, communications, and public relations strategies. This role is responsible for promoting the Campus Dining brand, driving engagement, and ensuring consistent messaging across all internal and external channels.

 

Key Responsibilities:
•    Analyzes customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
•    Expands and develops marketing platforms 
•    Manages the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
•    Monitors, reviews and reports on marketing activity and results
•    Delivers marketing activity within agreed budget
•    Creates marketing presentations
•    Monitors industry best practices and trends

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Minimum of two years marketing experience, with knowledge in foodservice preferred;
•    Excellent writing skills

•    Exceptional skills in copywriting and editing for diverse media (print, digital, social).
•    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
•    3-5 years of professional experience in marketing or communications, preferably within a high-volume, dynamic environment.
•    Proven leadership experience in leading teams, including direct management of staff and/or interns.
•    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, work under tight deadlines, and adapt to evolving priorities.

Preferred Skills
•    Experience in the food service, hospitality, or higher education industry.
•    Proficiency with email marketing platforms and content management systems (CMS).
•    Strong understanding of current social media best practices, trends, and analytics.
