Job Summary
Summary: The Concessions Cashier (21+) provides fast, friendly, and accurate service to guests at America First Field during soccer matches, concerts, and special events. This role is responsible for processing transactions, assisting with food and beverage service, and supporting responsible alcohol sales while maintaining Levy’s standards for guest service, accuracy, and professionalism. This position requires the associate to be 21 years of age or older due to alcohol service responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and provide friendly, professional service at concessions stands
- Accurately process cash, credit, and mobile point-of-sale transactions
- Answer basic guest questions regarding menu items, pricing, and promotions
- Maintain speed of service during high-volume event periods
- Sell beer and other alcoholic beverages in accordance with local and state laws
- Verify guest age and follow responsible alcohol service practices
- Maintain valid Alcohol Service Permit as required
- Escalate any alcohol-related concerns to supervisors promptly
- Assist with stand setup, stocking, and breakdown before and after events
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable cashier and service area
- Monitor product levels and communicate restocking needs
- Follow portioning, pricing, and menu standards
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and service areas
- Properly handle food, beverages, and service equipment
- Adhere to Levy safety and cleanliness policies
- Work collaboratively with cooks, beer pourers, runners, and stand leads
- Follow direction from supervisors and support overall stand operations
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance
- Uphold Levy standards of hospitality and guest service
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must obtain valid Utah Food Handlers Permit
- Must obtain valid Utah On-Premise Alcohol Certificate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and event-based schedules
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30–40 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
