Major Areas of Responsibility

Service

• Completes steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction
• Understands and can describe menu offerings, packaging/presentation, and pricing
• Establishes rapport with guests/members
• Effectively uses suggestive and upselling techniques
• Always exceeds guest expectations
• Adheres to location appearance guidelines
• Acts with a sense of urgency and provides friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests
• Responds to guest needs and requests

Controls

• Maintains service areas
• Employs good safety and sanitation practices
• Follows responsible alcohol service policies
• Adheres to Levy Restaurants Company guidelines as stated in the team member training manual and employee handbook
• Thoroughly completes all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities
• Practices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment
• Communicates guest issues to management

Team

• Displays a positive attitude toward teammates and managers
• Helps fellow team members whenever necessary
• Always on time and ready to perform all required duties

Knowledge and Skills

• Understand and follow proper food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to multi-task while demonstrating strong customer service skills

Job Requirements

• Lifts and transports up to 30 lbs.
• Able to communicate effectively with managers, guests, and teammates by speaking and comprehending English
• Walks and stands during the entire shift
• Frequently reaches, lifts, stoops, bends, and cleans to maintain service area
• English reading, writing, and math skills required
• Possible job hazards include, but are not limited to, slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts, and strains
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Ability to help with clean-up after Levi’s Stadium events, concerts, NFL games, etc.
• Must be able to work extended shifts of 10 hours or more as business dictates
• Must be flexible with schedule and able to work different shifts, including weekends
• Must be able to reach, lift, stoop, bend, and perform extensive standing and walking (including stairs) throughout the shift
