Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant and Pub Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive profitability. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management
- Supervise daily restaurant and pub operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to standards.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and manage staff including servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and hosts.
- Schedule shifts and manage payroll in coordination with HR.
- Foster a positive work environment and resolve staff conflicts.
- Customer Experience
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through attentive service and prompt issue resolution.
- Handle complaints and feedback professionally and proactively.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experience.
- Financial Oversight
- Monitor budgets, control costs, and maximize revenue.
- Analyze sales reports and implement strategies to improve profitability.
- Manage cash flow, POS systems, and financial reporting.
- Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the establishment.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections.
- Marketing & Events
- Collaborate on promotional campaigns and seasonal menus.
- Organize events, live entertainment, and special offers to attract patrons.
- Engage with local community and social media to boost visibility.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant/pub management or hospitality leadership.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic financial reporting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Certification in hospitality management or related field.
- Familiarity with local health and safety regulations.
- Experience in event planning and marketing.
