Job Summary
Prep Cook – Lumen Field
Become a part of the Levy team at Lumen Field, home of the Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Sounders FC, OL Reign, and world-class concerts and events. As a Prep Cook, you will become part of the Lumen Field culinary team, assisting with food preparation operations. You will play a key role in driving guest satisfaction within the Sports & Entertainment industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to follow directions from Chefs and Culinary Supervisors in the preparation and execution of the food product or job-related tasks at hand
- Prepares items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes
- Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy
- Completes all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities
- Works with other team members to keep kitchen clean and organized
- Practices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment
- Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
- Ensure the highest quality of food product
- Assists with concession stand food preparation and service on event days
- Maintain an open line of communication with culinary team to ensure overall kitchen expectations and basic daily job fulfillments are met.
- Promotes a safe, inclusive, and collaborative work environment
- Operates and cleans equipment per department and company procedures after each use
- Completes and follows daily production worksheets and waste log sheets
- Completes all required documentation, reports, and logs as required
- Complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures
- Adheres to Levy Restaurants Company guidelines as stated in the team member training manual and employee handbook
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Professional training through a culinary education or two years’ experience working in a fast-paced fine dining restaurant/catering facility preferred
- Knowledge of basic culinary terminology and basic food production techniques
- Ability to effectively communicate with managers and other team members
- Willingness to handle and serve all varieties of food (including, but not limited to poultry, pork, beef, dairy, etc.).
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to complete digital onboarding materials and electronic employment verification
- Black non-slip shoes required when working
- Possess valid WA State Food Handlers permit
