Job Summary

Levy at Lumen Field is seeking a Special Event Manager to support operations during our FIFA World Cup series. This temporary leadership role oversees premium clubs, suites, and VIP hospitality environments, ensuring world‑class service delivery for international guests, partners, and high‑profile clientele.

The ideal candidate brings strong managerial experience and thrives in fast‑paced, high‑visibility event settings. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring exceptional communication, poise, and the ability to guide teams through high‑pressure service windows while upholding Levy’s elevated standards.

 

 

As the Special Event Manager, you will lead day‑of‑event operations across all premium spaces, ensuring seamless service execution and elevated guest experiences. You will collaborate closely with culinary, beverage, logistics, and stadium partners to maintain presentation standards, resolve operational challenges, and support service teams throughout the event.

This role requires a polished, guest‑centric leader who can anticipate needs, communicate clearly, and maintain composure during globally televised, high‑volume events.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day‑of‑event operations for premium clubs, suites, and VIP hospitality areas.
  • Supervise, coach, and support service teams to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Coordinate with culinary, beverage, logistics, and stadium partners to execute seamless service.
  • Oversee suite readiness, presentation standards, and all guest‑facing service touchpoints.
  • Serve as an onsite point of contact for premium clients, suite holders, and VIP guests.
  • Troubleshoot operational challenges in real time with professionalism and urgency.
  • Maintain accurate event documentation, staffing notes, and post‑event reporting.
  • Support pre‑event briefings, staff alignment, and service‑flow coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with Levy service standards, safety protocols, and operational policies.
  • Foster a positive, team‑oriented environment during high‑pressure event operations.

 

Qualifications

  • Manager‑level experience required (hospitality, events, food & beverage, or related fields).
  • Background in hotels, weddings, luxury hospitality, or large‑scale event operations strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead teams in high‑pressure, guest‑centric environments.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Professional demeanor suitable for interacting with VIP and international guests.
  • Ability to work long event days, including nights, weekends, and all assigned match dates.
  • Experience managing premium or high‑touch service environments is highly valued.

 

Contract Details

  • Temporary full‑time contract from May 30 – July 10, 2026.
  • Weekly compensation: $1,600–$2,000, depending on experience.
  • Must be available for all six FIFA World Cup match days at Lumen Field, plus required training and prep days.
