Job Summary
Chartwells Higher Ed is hiring an energetic Director of Food Service Operations on the campus of MIssouri State University. In this key leadership role, you will oversee the CAMPUS DINING team, including residential, retail and catering. Alongside the Resident District Manager, you will help manage the food service operation, maintaining established costs and quality standards to ensure superior service and maximize profits.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain excellent relationships with customers, guests and client as well as other departments
• Work with the Chef and management team in creating menus and providing top quality food
• Oversee all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the account
• Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary team
• Works with team to maintain controllables including but not limited to food cost and labor cost.
• Participates and helps plan marketing and social events on campus.Formulates budgets and plans for the operation
Preferred Qualifications:
- A.S. or equivalent experience
- Three to five years of foodservice operation experience
- High volume production and catering experience is essential
- Previous experience managing a budget
- Desire to learn and grow with a top-notch foodservice company.
