Position Title: AREA DIRECTOR - K12 FOOD SERVICE - ST AUGUSTINE, FL 

Salary:  $115000 - $125000

Other Forms of Compensation: Annual Bonus Incentive up to 30%, fleet car

Job Summary

As Area Director, you’ll be a strategic partner to both clients and internal teams—focused on multi-unit leadership, operational performance, and developing high-impact teams. You’ll oversee a portfolio of K-12 districts representing $25–35M in managed volume and lead a team of RDMs and Directors across multiple accounts. This role requires regular travel to client sites to provide hands-on support, ensure program alignment, and drive results.

We’re looking for someone with strong multi-unit experience, proven financial competency, and the ability to confidently address groups—whether in board meetings or district-level discussions. Ideal candidates bring K-12 public school experience, have managed $10M+ in volume, and excel at building relationships, navigating complex challenges, and leading through influence.

This is a highly visible role with significant growth potential, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple districts while coaching and empowering high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitors the overall financial performance of the accounts to ensure profitability
  • Ensures consistent and fair administration of personnel policies
  • Manages planning, budget analysis and reporting for the region
  • Participates in the sales process to grow the region

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS Degree preferred
  • Five to seven years of contract foodservice management experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Financial acumen
  • Multi-unit experience is preferred
