Salary:  $55,000-$60,000/yr

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Chef with leading cost controls and control expenditures for the account
  • Work closely with the Chef to develop and craft exciting and innovative menus.
  • Successfully implement and produce high-quality catering events.
  • Collaborate with the Company marketing and culinary team to roll out new culinary programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A.S. or equivalent experience, with at least 3 years of multifaceted culinary/kitchen management experience.
  • Proven catering experience is required.
  • Previous experience in fast-paced food service operations is highly desirable.
  •  Institutional and batch cooking experiences are helpful.
  •  Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
  • Must be experienced with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Outlook, E-mail, and the Internet.
  • Must be willing to participate in client happiness programs and activities.
  • ServSafe certification is helpful.
