Job Summary

The Conference Solutions Assistant is responsible set ups and breakdowns and to assist with the Audio-Visual technical team in the Pfizer Tampa site including operation, troubleshooting, room maintenance, and security of all audiovisual equipment and facilities in the managed/event space and acts as a liaison between the Pfizer client and the Pfizer Conference Solutions Department in regards of conference rooms and event spaces throughout the Pfizer campus in regards to all CSA/AV needs for a successful meeting/event.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

Covers the Mailroom associate when out of the office.  
Covers the dining team when they are busy or when an associate is out of the office
Responsible for room maintenance, coffee pantry daily refilling/restocking; room setup/resets; event set ups/resets and office furniture move assistance when needed.
Ensure the proper set up of tables and chairs, as well as audiovisual equipment in meeting rooms and special event spaces according to client needs. This may require lifting an average of 20 – 30 pounds to a height of 36 – 60 inches with occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds to a height of 6 feet.
Ability to stay organized through Outlook, email, last minute requests
The flexibility to work a varied schedule due to business levels and industry demand      
Perform all duties in a professional manner and in accordance with company policies.  
Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment. 
Maintain business professional attire and grooming standards as outlined in departmental training.
Ability to stay calm in pressured situations
Ability to work on all types of event tasks that can be considered a non-technical duty. 
Operation of integrated audiovisual equipment.
Set up, operation and troubleshooting of computers, projectors, cameras, wired and wireless microphones, telephones. Operation of equipment may require long periods of standing or kneeling in place.
Good manual dexterity to operate audiovisual equipment.
Ability to understand and follow through with directions.
Must be able to distinguish between color patterns while converging/aligning/configuration  of video projectors and monitors.
Maintaining equipment and inventory.

Preferred Qualifications:
Individual must have two years experience with a multimedia audiovisual center.
Individual is to have the ability to communicate effectively with meeting planners, trainers, and corporate executives.
Must have the ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Requires working knowledge of video and audio equipment, integrated and standalone equipment troubleshooting skills.
Strong computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office products.
