SERVER LEAD (DRIVER) (PART TIME)

 

Morrison Living is hiring immediately for a part time SERVER LEAD position.

  • Location: Masonic Homes of California - 34400 Mission Boulevard, Union City, CA 94587. 
  • Schedule: Part time schedule. Friday and Monday, 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Saturday and Sunday, 10:30 am to 7:00 pm. More details upon interview.
  • Requirement: 1+ years of experience in a similar lead front-of-house role is preferred, we will train for the position! Must have a valid driver's license; may periodically drive a small van. In addition to standard steps of dining service, this role will:  
    • Drive a facility van within the campus to transport supplies or support dining operations as needed.
    • Move food products, supplies, and equipment within the complex using carts.
    • Assist with packing and transporting items for dining service or events.

Job Summary

Takes and delivers food/drink orders while creating an overall enjoyable dining experience and promoting a clean and safe environment for guests. In addition to traditional serving duties, this role supports operational needs within the complex, including product movement and transportation assistance using facility vehicles. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the point person through which all work related requests are communicated to unit management.
  • Trains and acclimates new associates to the company culture, the client's culture and the operations.
  • Demonstrates a complete understanding of all menu items and ingredients.
  • Promptly addresses and corrects any complaints or issues.
  • Assists in the selection and orientation of employees and oversees training of staff in areas of responsibility.
  • Drive a facility van within the campus to transport supplies or support dining operations as needed.
  • Move food products, supplies, and equipment within the complex using carts.
  • Assist with packing and transporting items for dining service or events.
  • Support other dining areas or satellite locations when needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to push carts and transport supplies across the complex.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to safely drive a facility van within the complex.
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
