Position Title: Chef Manager 

Salary: $90,000 - $100,000

Other Forms of Compensation: Annual Performance Bonus Opportunity (Up to 10% of Base Salary)

Job Summary

As a Chef Manager, you will support culinary operations for the prestigious World Bank dining program, partnering closely with the Senior Executive Chef to deliver exceptional food experiences. This role combines culinary leadership, team development, menu execution, and direct client engagement within a professional and hospitality-driven environment.
 
The ideal candidate brings a strong restaurant or hospitality background, enjoys being visible and guest-facing, and is passionate about developing teams while delivering high-quality dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Senior Executive Chef to execute the culinary vision and daily food service operations
  • Lead and develop culinary team members through coaching, training, and mentorship
  • Maintain a strong presence in dining areas and build positive relationships with guests and clients
  • Support menu planning, recipe development, and seasonal culinary initiatives
  • Oversee food production and presentation to ensure quality and consistency
  • Assist with purchasing, inventory management, and food cost control initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
  • Support catering operations, special events, and client-facing functions
  • Collaborate with operations, marketing, and culinary teams to introduce new dining experiences and programs
  • Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

  • Culinary leadership experience in restaurants, hotels, resorts, clubs, catering, or corporate dining environments
  • Experience leading teams in high-volume food service operations
  • Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
  • Comfortable interacting with clients, guests, and senior stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of food cost management, purchasing, and inventory controls
  • Experience supporting catering, banquet, or special event operations
  • Commitment to food quality, safety, and team development
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training is preferred
  • Interest in growing a long-term career within a leading foodservice organization
