Job Summary
The Senior HR Generalist will collaborate as needed with HR business partners and unit leadership to define and execute HR initiatives and process improvements. The desired candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management and frontline teams. As needed, the position may also support additional special projects. This role requires a broad spectrum of knowledge of HR programs and business processes including understanding technology.
Responsibilities
• Manage Onboarding Programs and management training related to HR
• Coordinates and partners with corporate support and onsite management in HR functional areas including but not limited to Recruiting, Training, and Administrative
• Develop and deliver training presentations regarding human resources policies, programs and practices.
• Standardized HR process and practices across the system.
• Investigate and advise management in appropriate resolution of associate relations issues that arise in partnership with the HR Advice and Guidance team and/or Labor Relations
• Content expert regarding policies, procedures and programs.
• Coordinates/conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations and create strategy for improving retention
• Support internal customer survey and associate satisfaction interpretation/feedback process and action planning and follow-up
• Leads initiatives to improve Turnover and Associate Engagement
• Identify client needs and evaluate new and/or alternative business solutions to meet business objectives
• Identify, leverage, and integrate current technology in order to increase effectiveness of internal and external HR communication (specify technology)
• Develop new metrics and dashboards for process improvements
• Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements and maintain records
• Position may have direct reports in relation to HR functional areas including but not limited to Recruiting, Training, and Administrative.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
• Monitor and track HR Assessments completion and advise operations on areas of improvement
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5 years of Human Resources experience
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with an ability to distill information to the clearest points
• Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and regulations is required.
• Understanding technical terminology that relates to business environment/information technology systems
• Possess excellent judgment and an ability to balance multiple tasks
• Personable, with ability to finesse a situation and build consensus among business partners
• Broad experience with different facets of HR with great deal of understanding for global HR differences (i.e. employment requirements, benefits, etc.) is a plus
• Experienced and comfortable with data management and reporting (able to define, gather and synthesize data from multiple sources to produce analysis)
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
• Thorough attention to detail with excellent prioritization skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Enjoys a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Must be a team player
• Proficient with Word, Excel, MS Project, Visio, Outlook, Microsoft Project and SharePoint and PowerPoint
