Job Summary
Join our team as a Concession Stand Worker and provide exceptional service to fans during UW-Madison Badger Sporting Events. In this role, you’ll handle transactions, interact with customers, prepare food, and maintain high sanitation standards, all while contributing to a fun, high-energy atmosphere. Anticipated start date of June 1st.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sales transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring all purchases are recorded in the register.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and service-oriented manner, resolving any complaints or concerns promptly.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages, ensuring high quality and adherence to standards.
- Restock supplies (condiments, food, beverages, etc.) and maintain a clean and organized service area.
- Follow all safety and sanitation standards, including ServSafe and alcohol service regulations.
- Ensure compliance with inventory procedures, ensuring accurate stock levels throughout events.
- Serve alcohol responsibly, following Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support smooth event operations.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Willingness to earn ServSafe certification if not already certified.
- Ability to stand for long hours during events.
- Ability to lift 25-45 lbs for stocking and setup.
- Must be available to work all UW-Madison Football games and a majority of events at the Kohl Center Arena.
