Pay Grade: 14 

Salary: $100,000 - $105,000

Job Summary

The Financial Analyst role partners closely with operations and culinary teams to drive profitability, improve cost performance, and support strategic decision making across a dynamic, multi-contract food service environment. The position blends traditional financial planning and analysis with hands-on operational support, offering visibility to senior leadership and the opportunity to directly influence business outcomes through data-driven insights, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze monthly financial statements, forecasts, and variance reports for assigned accounts or regions.

• Partner with client stakeholders, senior operations leaders, site operations controllers and financial management teams to solve operational and financial challenges and champion business initiatives for profit and strategy improvement and alignment.

• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within financial results to support data-driven business decisions.

• Assist in preparing periodic reforecasts, ensuring alignment with operational goals and company strategy.

• Collaborate with culinary, operations, and procurement teams to analyze food, labor, and supply costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities.

• Develop financial models and dashboards to track KPIs and improve reporting efficiency.

• Support process improvements and ensure compliance with company financial policies and internal controls.

• Provide financial support for client presentations, business reviews, and retention efforts.

• Ensure data integrity across financial systems and reporting tools, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.

• Support audit processes and client reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations.

• Participate in system implementations or upgrades related to financial reporting, forecasting, or analytics tools.

• Perform ad hoc financial analysis for new business proposals, capital projects, and client renewals.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).

• 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, ideally within the food service, hospitality, or multi-unit operations industry.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills. CORE COMPETENCIES
